I proudly introduce to you "Labnané", a self-initiated project that aims to emphasize on the heritage & beauty of Lebanon using modern minimalism. The multicultural 10452km2 country emerged from various civilizations over thousands of years.
It was home to the Phoenicians and was subsequently conquered by the Assyrians, Greeks, Romans, Persians, Arabs, Crusaders, Ottoman Turks and the French. This variety is reflected in Lebanon's diverse population, cuisine & landmarks.
Nowadays, people tend to forget the beauty and heritage of Lebanon due to persistent political instability and most recently the refugees' crisis.

Therefore, in this collection, I wanted to visualize via my own style some very characteristic places, houses, and fortresses in Lebanon. It features landmarks such as the temple of Bacchus in Baalbeck, Fakhreddine Mosque in Deir el Qamar, Sawfar Grand Hotel, Ruins of Anjar and many more.

These stamps will probably be out there soon, as I'm still working on pitching this idea to the Lebanese Government and most precisely the ministries of Tourism, Culture & Foreign Affairs/Emigrants.

I hope you enjoy this initiative and would love to see you in Lebanon!
